ICCv8 for Cortex (V8.00.00) has now been officially released. You can download it from our website.<\/p>\n

\n– M4 Instruction Set not supported
\n– PRO optimizations not enabled
\n– Cortex-M Bitfield instructions not used
\n– Bitband memory alias

cortex\\examples.workspace for some sample projects<\/p>\n

– ARM CMSIS header files under c:\\iccv8cortex\\include\\CMSIS, the compiler
\ndriver automatically includes this directory (along with
\nc:\\iccv8cortex\\include\\) in the search list.<\/p>\n

– NXP header files under c:\\iccv8cortex\\include\\<vendor name>\\
\nYou will have to explicitly add them to the Include Path, e.g.
\n$(TARGET_COMPILER_DIR)NXP\\LPC17xx\\<\/p>\n

– No vendor CMSIS source files are included as they are rather large.
\nPlease download them from the vendors’ sites.<\/p>\n

– Please refer to the documentation, “Programming for Cortex-M” on what
\nsteps to take to get a working project.<\/p><\/div>\n
